What a well-run family session actually delivers
Not a resolution — a record. Not advice — a process. The difference matters more than it sounds.
← Back to HomeSix things a Yonderfold session provides
Each of these is a concrete output, not a promise. You can see them, keep them, and hand them on.
A written agenda
Before the session opens, every participant receives the agenda in writing. Nothing comes as a surprise. The family controls what goes on the list.
A neutral minute
Every session ends with a written minute recording what was said — not interpreted, not edited. All participants confirm it before they leave.
Equal speaking time
The facilitator holds the balance. No single participant dominates. People who find it difficult to speak in family settings are given protected space.
An open-items register
In longer engagements, a running register tracks every item raised but not yet resolved, so nothing falls through between sessions.
A practitioner directory
When formal professional input is the right next step, we provide a current directory of registered practitioners in the Klang Valley across relevant fields.
An indexed document pack
In the Atlas Programme, your family's own documents are assembled, indexed, and returned in a bound handover pack — ready for any professional who needs to review them.
The case for each benefit
Trained, experienced facilitators
Our facilitators come from backgrounds in structured dialogue, dispute resolution, and administrative practice. Each has worked with families at different stages of complexity before joining Yonderfold.
- Trained in structured dialogue methods
- Regular internal review and practice updates
- Clarity on what they do and do not do
A process designed for families
The atlas method — one fold at a time — was designed specifically for family situations where multiple perspectives need space, and where rushing produces confusion rather than clarity.
- Agenda set by the family, not the facilitator
- Paced to the family's availability
- Adaptable to in-person or online formats
Attentive, unhurried service
We take on a limited number of families at a time so that each engagement receives proper attention. You can reach us by phone or email, and we respond within one working day.
- Dedicated facilitator for each engagement
- Evening and weekend slots available
- One working day response to enquiries
Transparent, fixed pricing
All session fees are stated upfront in Malaysian Ringgit with no add-ons for standard session outputs. The minute, the register, and the templates are included.
- RM 495 for Single Fold Session
- RM 2,080 for Sequenced Conversations Pack
- RM 4,140 for Atlas Programme
A clearer starting point for professional advice
Families who arrive at a solicitor or financial advisor with an indexed document register and a written record of their discussions spend less time in preliminary meetings. The Atlas Programme produces exactly those materials — in a form that any qualified professional can read immediately.
Yonderfold vs. the alternatives
Most families trying to address practical arrangements do so informally — around a dinner table, in a group chat, or through a single meeting with a professional. Each approach has real costs.
| ASPECT | INFORMAL FAMILY DISCUSSION | YONDERFOLD SESSION |
|---|---|---|
| Written record | Rarely produced | Neutral minute for every session |
| Equal speaking time | Depends on personalities | Held by the facilitator |
| Prepared agenda | Usually improvised | Agreed in writing beforehand |
| Neutral facilitation | Not present | Trained, no position taken |
| Professional referrals | Ad hoc | Directory of registered practitioners |
| Document register | Not included | Available in Atlas Programme |
| Privacy | Depends on context | Nothing filed externally |
Features that are not standard elsewhere
The atlas method
Our structured approach opens one practical question at a time. It was developed specifically for family settings where multiple people hold different pieces of information and different views about priority.
A clear handover to professionals
The Atlas Programme is designed to end with materials a solicitor, accountant, or estate planner can use immediately — a bound register, a digital copy, and a neutral chronology drawn from the family's own documents.
No advice, no position
Our facilitators are trained to hold a meeting, not run one. The distinction is meaningful: the agenda, the priorities, and the conclusions belong entirely to the family.
The boundaries key
Each engagement opens with a short written statement of what Yonderfold does and does not do. This is not a disclaimer — it is a working document that the family can refer to if the scope of a session becomes unclear.
